Salary Grade : 22 (Php 71,511.00)

Program/Division/Unit : : Visayas Disaster Resource Center
Reports to : Chief Administrative Officer
Positions supervised : AO V, AO IV, AO III, AOII, AOI, WH II, ADAS II, AA VI
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education :
Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience :
Three (3) years of relevant experience
Training :
Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
Education :
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Management, Business / Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or any other related courses.
Experience :
At least five (5) years of experience in supervisory / management related to logistics, production, warehousing, donations, quality assurance and volunteers' deployment.
Training :
At least forty (40) hours of training on supervisory / management related to logistics, production, warehousing, donations, quality assurance and volunteers' deployment.
Additional Competency :
Above average knowledge on use of MS Office; great attention to details; above average knowledge in planning, organizing, accounting; above average knowledge on humanitarian supply chain management; with excellent written and oral communications skills; able to work harmoniously, competently and effectively even under pressure
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under direction and with substantial latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, serves as the Assistant Head for the Visayas Disaster Resource Center.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Directs, supervises, and coordinates the review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, guidelines, systems and processes pertaining to humanitarian supply chain;
2. Acts as overall in-charge in the absence of the Head of VDRC as delegated;
3. Provides technical and administrative support to the Head of VDRC;
4. Implements policies / mechanisms to ensure transparency and efficiency;
5. Supervises the implementation of the relief allocation plan in a timely manner;
6. Supervises the integration / consolidation of programs, activities and project of NRLMB in the Work and Financial Plan (WFP) which include targets, schedules and performance metrics;
7. Reviews outputs of subordinates against performance standards and provide inputs to the Head of Office in rating staff performance and identifying gaps and necessary interventions;
8. Updates the Head of NRLMB on the status of its deliverables / tasks regularly;
9. Provides supervisory and consultative assistance / services to partner / stakeholders and FOs counterpart to address the challenges encountered in the humanitarian supply chain management;
10. Acts as a resource person during seminars / trainings / workshops related to humanitarian supply chain management;
11. Attends meeting, conferences and other activities in behalf of the Head of VDRC as delegated;
12. Performs other tasks as may be required by the Head of VDRC
