JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under immediate supervision, performs technical, administrative and support functions of Administrative Division (AD) and does other related works.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Reviews financial documents (e.g. billings for payment) and ensures that all financial transactions are in conformance and compliant to the government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
2. Prepares Obligation Request and Status (ORS), Disbursement Vouchers (DVs), and monitors/facilitates follow through actions on disbursements of the bureau.
3. Provides guidance in the costing of personnel, activities, and operations.
4. Handles external relations with appropriate contacts related to financial concerns of the bureau.
5. Assists in monitoring the budget and expenditure of the bureau, including the progress of all financial transactions.
6. Ensures all financial transactions are properly authorized, recorded, have adequate supporting documentation, filed, maintained, and can be easily extracted for financial audits.
7. Organizes and maintains a comprehensive financial file and ensures all recording is compliant with internal oversight's requirements.
8. Performs other related tasks that may be given from time to time.
