JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under immediate supervision, performs nursing care functions in the implementation of health services; and does other related works.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manages the designated Clinic.
2. Prepares and advocates Safety and Health-related programs and activities.
3. Attends to the basic medical needs of staff and volunteers by providing first aid or simple treatment when necessary.
4. Ensures efficient and coordinated medical services and endorses medical assessments to the DSWD Medical Clinic as needed.
5. Refers or recommends staff/volunteers needing medical check-up and evaluation.
6. Monitors and supervises the performance of volunteers and/or production teams upon deployment to production/warehouse in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
7. Orients first-time and walk-in volunteers on safety and health protocols.
8. Assists in the dietary, hygiene, and environmental sanitation services.
9. Prepares nursing notes and other reports.
10. Coordinates with other services/clinics/hospitals in relation to the rehabilitation of concerned clients.
11. Maintains staff and volunteers' medical information database.
12. Attends meetings, conferences, and other activities related to safety and health procedures/activities.
13. Conducts regular monitoring and inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
14. Coordinates with the procurement/supply officers regarding the medical supplies needed for volunteers and staff.
15. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
