
HR Supervisor

HR Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and executing the daily human resources functions within a restaurant group. This position focuses on driving talent acquisition, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The supervisor acts as a critical link between management and staff, fostering a positive, productive, and compliant work environment that supports the overall operational goals of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manages full-cycle recruitment for all restaurant positions, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative roles.
- Develops effective, high-volume sourcing strategies to attract and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates from various channels (e.g., job boards, industry networks, culinary schools).
- Conducts interviews, oversees trade tests, and manages the offer process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Analyzes recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, employee turnover) to identify trends and improve hiring efficiency.
2. Employee & Labor Relations
- Serves as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, grievances, and disputes.
- Administers and enforces company policies and procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application.
- Conducts disciplinary investigations and provides guidance to managers on proper due process.
- Ensures strict compliance with all local labor laws (e.g., DOLE issuances on wages, working hours, and benefits) and company regulations.
3. HR Administration & Compliance
- Oversees HR administrative tasks, including payroll-related inputs, attendance monitoring, and leave management.
- Maintains accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
- Assists in preparing HR reports and presentations for management, including staffing updates and compliance audits.
