Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Summary:

The General Manager leads overall business operations, project delivery, and revenue growth for the company. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, sales, and strategic management experience to oversee construction projects, drive client acquisition, and ensure profitability. The General Manager is accountable for operational efficiency, team performance, business development, and compliance with industry standards. Strong leadership, financial acumen, and communication skills are essential to align construction activities with the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute business strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue goals.

Sales & Business Development: Lead client acquisition efforts, build strong relationships, and negotiate high-value contracts.

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability across projects.

Team Leadership: Supervise project managers, engineers, and support staff; provide coaching and performance management.

Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations while mitigating business risks.

Reporting: Prepare and present operational and financial reports to executive management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).

Experience: 8–10 years of relevant leadership experience in construction, with proven track record in sales, marketing, and project management.

Licensing: Professional license (CE, MBA, or equivalent certifications) preferred but not always required.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction management tools, contract administration, and cost control systems.

Business Skills: Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of market trends in the construction industry.

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
