Overseeing a project from pre-construction through completion, focusing on pre-construction planning, budget setting, and scheduling, while also managing onsite activities, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with architects and engineers, and reporting to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans, managing finances and resources, mitigating risks, and leading the construction team to ensure high-quality work within budget and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Pre-Construction: Develop project budgets, timelines, and strategic plans, and provide input during the design phase.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Establish and control project costs, track expenses, and manage financial records, notes Monster for Employers |.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Create and monitor work schedules, delegate responsibilities, and manage the logistical aspects of the project.
  • Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to oversee progress, inspect work, and ensure staff and contractors adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage unforeseen issues that could impact the project's progress.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Hire and train staff, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and provide technical support.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved designs, contract documents, and all building and safety regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders, according to Go Construct.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze technical information, such as blueprints.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, constructability, and relevant building codes.
  • Preferably with experience and can handle the Sales and Marketing Department.
