Key responsibilities:
- Data management: Collect, organize, and maintain accurate financial records, including receipts, invoices, and transactions, often using accounting software.
- Accounts payable and receivable: Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, generate invoices for customers, and manage collections.
- Financial analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, comparing expenses over different periods.
- Budget and planning support: Assist with budgeting processes, financial planning, and forecasting, and support the month-end close of the general ledger.
- Administrative and other duties: Handle administrative tasks, perform bank reconciliations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
