Mandarin Head of Crossborder Sales

● The Head of Crossborder will focus primarily on the relationship management

and overall performance management of China and SEA accounts. In addition, he

or she will manage the overall productivity of all inbound shipments and

domestic deliveries to consignees. This department will fully utilize the current

competencies, technology and delivery capabilities of Ninja Van to serve its

clients to the best of their abilities.

Main Duties

Planning and Budgeting

1. Defines and communicates the KPIs and Financial Targets to the Crossborder

Team.

2. Provides data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimise our

crossborder performance and improve market share.

3. Work alongside the business in the areas of strategy, account management,

operations and the financial goals of the department.

4. Develop and understand pricing mechanisms to develop commercial proposals

Account Management

1. Managing and monitoring the performance of the business across the different

countries assigned.

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with top clients and working teams.

3. Working across the different commercial and operations departments to improve

account experience, local and regional.

Team Management

1. Develop and coach team members to keep them motivated and provide optimal

performance and productivity

2. Learn and share best-practices within areas of responsibility.

Trend Research

1. Have a good grasp and knowledge of the local and international markets and

competition to react swiftly to changing market conditions.

2. Provide timely and responsive feedback to management on sales performance,

market insights, and overall performance of the clients across the KPIs.

3. Communicate significant trends and patterns, rate changes, and policies of the

assigned accounts

Others

1. Monitor and ensure that Ninja Van achieve efficiency

2. Be responsible for ad-hoc projects both internal as well as those undertaken

together with general accounts and clients

3. Other tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Commercial Officer
