Job Purpose:

The Payroll Analyst ensures accurate and timely processing of employee compensation by managing end-to-end payroll operations, validating data, and coordinating with relevant departments. This role is responsible for compliance with labor regulations, maintaining payroll records, and supporting a smooth and efficient payroll experience for employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including timekeeping, to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement for all employees
• Review, validate, and audit payroll data such as overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions, government-mandated contributions, and tax computations
• Process payroll-related adjustments, including retroactive payments, salary corrections, and final pay computations.
• Monitor employee leave balances and accurately apply leave policies, including any associated deductions or payouts.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related concerns, discrepancies, and employee queries in a timely manner
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of payroll records and employee compensation data
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll operations.
• Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce), ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in HR, particularly in payroll and benefits management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.

• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
