We are looking for a Sales Training Manager to develop and implement effective training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our sales team. This role will be responsible for equipping sales professionals with the tools and strategies needed to drive revenue growth, improve client engagement, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Job Objectives & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute sales training programs focused on consultative selling, negotiation, client relationship management, and product knowledge.
- Conduct onboarding training for new sales hires to ensure a strong understanding of company products, sales processes, and best practices.
- Create and deliver engaging workshops, coaching sessions, and e-learning materials to support continuous sales development.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and market trends.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs, sales performance metrics, and employee feedback.
- Develop sales scripts, presentations, and training manuals to standardize sales approaches and messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging sales techniques to enhance training programs.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to sales team members, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish sales performance benchmarks and assess individual and team progress.
- Organize role-playing exercises, case studies, and real-world sales scenarios to strengthen practical sales skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales training, sales management, or sales coaching, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and consultative selling techniques.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and learning materials.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills to engage and inspire sales professionals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and training software; experience with LMS platforms is a plus.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance metrics and adjust training strategies accordingly.
- Passion for coaching and mentoring sales teams to achieve high performance.
