The Business Development Officer (BDO) plays a key role in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives. The BDO is responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and contributing to the overall sales strategy to enhance the company's market position.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development: - Identify and target new business opportunities in existing and new markets. - Research and analyze market trends and industry insights to identify potential growth areas. - Develop and implement strategies to approach and secure new clients or partnerships.2. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients. - Understand client needs and requirements, and offer tailored solutions to meet those needs. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle.3. Sales Strategy & Execution: - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute business development plans and strategies. - Drive the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiations, and closing deals. - Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.4. Proposal & Presentation Development: - Create and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients. - Negotiate contracts and pricing structures to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.5. Market Research & Analysis: - Conduct thorough market research to identify new potential customers and emerging market trends.6. Reporting & Performance Tracking: - Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and deals using CRM software. - Provide regular reports on sales performance, business development activities, and market conditions to senior management.7. Collaboration & Teamwork: - Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, etc.) to ensure successful delivery of services and solutions to clients. - Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s presence in the market.Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (Master's degree is a plus). - 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven. - Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability. - Passionate about growth and development opportunities. - Can start ASAP
