Apply nowJob SummaryHMO on Day 1Receive promising perks and rewardsExperience travel opportunitiesGet recognized for what you doAchieve work-life balanceImprove exponentially with enhanced learningResponsibilitiesMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness ProcessHolding the accountant role within our credit card and expense system, reviewing submitted expenses for compliance with category reporting and VAT compliance;Preparing journals for the accounting system reflecting the costs into the right categories of the P&L;Ensuring expense control accounts are reconciled at month end;Providing reports for the business tracking submission performance and spend analysis.Group ReportingPrepare tables and summaries, some of which are used for the Group executive reporting to the Board;Updating and rolling forward Excel templates used in reporting to provide the business finance teams with the tools needed for group reportingExternal reportingPreparing reports and schedules for the external auditors for review by the Group Reporting ManagerPulling together data for review to support bank field exams for review by the Group Reporting ManagerTaxPreparing monthly schedules to support settlement agreementRunning the quarterly VAT reporting process including data download to comply with making tax digital requirements;Reviewing VAT data in the quarterly return to identify anomalies and flag to the Group Reporting ManagerOtherReconciliation & review of Balance sheet accounts;Intercompany reconciliation, highlighting follows up items or mismatchesNumerate and analytical with a good attention to detailAble to explain financial results in a logical and structured way Effective written and verbal communicationExperience working with data and particularly reconciliationsCompetent with Excel and able to use functions to support analysis and presentationFinance or bookkeeping experienceRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant fieldHave at least 2 years experience in accounting or similar roleGreat knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practicesWorking knowledge on MS365, NetSuite, PayhawkWell-developed interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritizeVery keen attention to detail and high levels of initiativeOutstanding analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal English business communication skillsCan start ASAP and amenable to required schedulesAmenable to report onsite in either Ortigas, Pasig City / Cubao, Quezon City
