Consolidated Edison is seeking a dedicated and reliable Chat Support Representative to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As an Entry Level position, no prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to kickstart their career in customer support.

Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support through our chat platform in a timely and professional manner.
2. Identify and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude with customers at all times.
4. Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
5. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
6. Meet or exceed performance goals related to customer satisfaction and response times.

Requirements:
1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. High school diploma or equivalent.
5. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
6. Previous experience in customer service is a plus but not required.
7. Cooperation and leadership skills.
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
9. Must be comfortable using computers and be proficient in typing.
