We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience specifically within a healthcare setting, along with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of HR processes. This position plays a critical role in recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee support.
Responsibilities:
- Post job ads on job boards and internal platforms
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Obtain credentialing documents and forward them to the HR Director
- Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding activities
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate records
- Communicate with candidates regarding application status and next steps
- Maintain and update digital employee HR files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies
- Track employee certifications, licenses, and other healthcare-related requirements on a monthly basis
- Assist with employment documentation and audits
- Respond to HR-related inquiries from staff in a timely and professional manner
- Draft letters, memos, and internal HR communications
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of HR admin or generalist experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of healthcare employment laws, HR policies, and compliance standards
- Proficient in HRIS and ATS; healthcare HR systems a plus
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or with a team
- Must be available to start immediately
