We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare HR Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience specifically within a healthcare setting, along with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of HR processes. This position plays a critical role in recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee support.

Responsibilities:

  • Post job ads on job boards and internal platforms
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews
  • Obtain credentialing documents and forward them to the HR Director
  • Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding activities
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate records
  • Communicate with candidates regarding application status and next steps
  • Maintain and update digital employee HR files
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies
  • Track employee certifications, licenses, and other healthcare-related requirements on a monthly basis
  • Assist with employment documentation and audits
  • Respond to HR-related inquiries from staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Draft letters, memos, and internal HR communications
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of HR admin or generalist experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of healthcare employment laws, HR policies, and compliance standards
  • Proficient in HRIS and ATS; healthcare HR systems a plus
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or with a team
  • Must be available to start immediately
