Remote Office Administrator (Independent Contractor)
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Remote Office Administrator to join our team. This is a broad and dynamic role that touches multiple departments and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately manage and process payroll. Extreme attention to detail is required, as payroll is complex and must be handled with precision.
- Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate records in company databases and spreadsheets.
- Recruiting & Hiring: Post job openings, screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, and assist with onboarding new hires.
- General Administration: Perform a variety of administrative tasks across departments as needed, including scheduling, communication, and document management.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with leadership and staff remotely to complete projects and assignments in HR, finance, operations, and other areas as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office administration, HR, or a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Workspace, and database systems.
- Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Must have reliable high-speed internet service.
- Must have two computer screens set up prior to start date.
- Must be willing to download and use Teramind monitoring software (company-provided) to allow real-time visibility of work activity during work hours.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Contractor position (not an employee role).
- $800 USD per month base pay.
- Performance bonus of $200 USD per month available, based on meeting specific performance requirements.
- 1 week of paid time off (PTO) provided annually.
