The HR Employee Relations Officer is responsible for maintaining positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws, and promoting a healthy and productive work environment. This role supports both management and employees in handling workplace issues, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints in a timely and impartial manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and code of conduct.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee behavior.
- Prepare documentation and reports related to disciplinary actions, incident investigations, and HR cases.
- Coordinate employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and team-building events.
- Monitor employee morale and provide recommendations to improve workplace culture.
- Assist in policy development, communication, and implementation.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to improve retention and employee satisfaction.
- Support other HR functions such as recruitment, training, and performance management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or similar role.
- Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
