Position Overview
The HR Employee Relations Officer is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by effectively managing employee concerns, implementing company policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role supports organizational goals by promoting healthy workplace dynamics and strong employer–employee relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and conflict resolution.
- Handle disciplinary actions, incident reports, and corrective measures in coordination with HR leadership.
- Conduct investigations related to workplace issues, misconduct, or policy violations.
- Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Ensure consistent application of company policies across all departments.
- Support the review and update of HR policies to align with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with government labor regulations and company guidelines.
- Employee Engagement & Communication
- Support programs to strengthen employee morale, engagement, and team culture.
- Coordinate and implement employee activities, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Help communicate HR updates, memorandums, and company announcements.
- Performance & Attendance Management
- Assist in monitoring performance evaluation processes.
- Manage attendance issues and ensure proper documentation and actions for tardiness, absences, and similar concerns.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Prepare reports related to employee incidents, disciplinary cases, engagement activities, and employee concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in HR, preferably with employee relations exposure.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR policies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with fairness and neutrality.
