Job Description

As a Business Development Account Manager at Virginia Food, Inc., you will be responsible for expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on establishing and maintaining strong relationships with government accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding processes, and delivering exceptional client service.

About the Role:
  • You will identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to pursue them.
  • Your expertise in sales and marketing will enable you to build rapport with clients and tailor solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Open and manage government accounts, ensuring efficient onboarding processes.
  2. Develop and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  3. Process collections from accounts in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Coordinate product sampling, bookings, and collection of Christmas Hams from HRI and other accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
