Job Summary

This is a remote position as an IT Support Specialist to provide timely and effective technical support to restaurant operations.

The successful candidate will work remotely to support various IT systems and platforms, with occasional on-site visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing real-time IT support to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Using remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Maintaining and updating POS menus, item settings, modifiers, reservation systems, and online platforms (Google Business Profile, Facebook)
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to POS errors, printer malfunctions, delivery platform connectivity (Uber Eats, Menulog, DoorDash), and online reservation systems (Quandoo, SevenRooms)
  • Communicating effectively with external vendors and platform support teams
  • Documenting support cases and maintaining an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are essential for the role:

  • Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
  • Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
  • Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
