Frontline Patient Service Advocate

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented patient services representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate patient records.
The role involves coordinating preventive visits, chronic disease management appointments, and same-day sick visits. You will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate support.
- Greet callers in a professional manner and address patient needs promptly
- Schedule primary care appointments, including annual exams and acute visits
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Maintain and update patient records accurately
- Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of primary care visit types and referral processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm EST. A high level of organization and attention to detail is required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
