Responsibility

  • The employee provides guidance and assistance to HR and administrative Admin Requirements of Bravissimo affiliates (Manalo De Lumen and Co., Miglior Viaggio Travel and Tour, Inc., etc.) that may be required from time to time.
  • The employee communicates with employees, both internal and external, and if necessary, with the assistance of HR staff, understands the employee's situation and condition, then evaluates compliance with Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC), identifies performance levels to date, and determines the need for counseling or the issuance of a Notice to Explain (NTE).
  • The employee works with or cooperates with the President to fully understand and discuss challenges and specifications and develop an appropriate strategy.
  • Responsible for weekly or daily executive updates and management of issues, risks, and escalations (Payroll Disputes, HR Subject Matter experts, etc.).
  • The employee ensures that employee records, the 201 database, on boarding and attrition reports are accurate and up-to-date. Provide a regular report to the Payroll Team for active employees and those undergoing separation.
  • The employee coordinates for approval and inputs with the President with regards to external or internal employee contract extensions, amendment agreements, salary increases, etc.
  • The employee timely ensures the completion of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reports and facilitates submission to the appropriate DOLE Office. Handle the audit and compliance with regular DOLE.
  • The employee ensures timely preparation and filing of the employee government contribution reports to SSS, Pag-IBIG, and Phil-Health.
  • The employee conducts monthly training and seminars for employees only on specialized topics.
  • The employee manages the issuance of necessary memoranda, notices, or announcements to internal or external employees.
  • The employee oversees each payroll run and ensures it is completed on time. Examine and double-check the resource compensation, benefits, and deductions report for accuracy.
  • The employee is responsible for accomplishing and generating HR reports and trackers. Submits requested reports by the HR and Admin Head or management on time.
  • The employee manages the timely issuance of necessary memorandums, notices, or announcements to external employees. Prepare e-mails, such as submission of timesheets, etc., to ensure proper compliance.
  • The employee works with or coordinates with HR, the Admin head, and team members to fully understand challenges and specifications and develop an appropriate strategy.
  • The employee maintains organized record-keeping, handles any relevant paperwork, and completes administrative duties.
  • The employee conducts an initial orientation for newly hired employees and other HR learning sessions.
  • The employee monitors resignations, exit clearance, and laptop returns and ensures smooth transitions until the release of final pay.
  • Responsible for weekly or daily executive updates and management of issues, risks, and escalations (Payroll Disputes, HR Subject Matter experts, etc.).

Qualification

  • Provide expertise, advice, counsel, coaching to top management on people goals and strategies, making them relevant to the location and aligning them with corporate strategy.
  • Lead core HR processes for the group of companies including Compensation, Benefits & Rewards, Employee Relations, Learning, and Performance Management.
  • Create relevant people policies consistent with the overall corporate strategy, that guide people on appropriate conduct and behavior that results in a high performing, and rewarding work environment.
  • Processing of loans and claims (SSS/PHILHEALTH and HDMF). Prepares monthly payment and posting of government mandated benefits. Monitor documents for transaction with government agencies.
  • Generate system employee logs and validate timesheet every cut off for payroll processing. Monitor items for salary deduction and preparation of employees' salary pay-out.
  • Prepare and submit attrition and retention report to the management on a weekly basis.
  • Assist recruitment in handling various tasks regarding probationary hire of internal employees. Monitoring of attendance, leaves and absences. Coordination and review with supervisor of new hire for evaluation and improvements.
  • Execute the clearance process including exit interviews of all the separated employees and make a summary report.
  • Assesses and provided training and development needs. Present programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing activities and program to increase employee engagement within the organization.
  • Build the process structure to develop a strong pipeline for strategic leadership continuity.
  • Anticipate and identify current and future people-related issues and gaps between the business needs and people systems/capabilities, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Ensures correctness of the disciplinary action issued to all employees. Ensures company rules, regulations and policies are cascaded and followed diligently by employees.
  • Participate in and influence community and government relations to promote the group of companies' employer brand to positively impact talent attraction and business results.
  • Mentor and coach people managers and teams to ensure they align with people strategies and comply with local employment laws.
  • Manage sensitive grievances, employer relations issues in accordance with the company's internal policies and procedures
  • Partner with professional and business service people leads to ensure implementation of aligned key people initiatives, sharing best practices, proactive identification of emerging business issues, and collaboration on the development of solutions.
  • Drive quality, efficiencies and performance based on expectations agreed upon with process owners.
  • Helps and support the Company President and Chairman for ad hoc tasks.
