Job Summary:

As the HR Head, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources function. This role involves creating and implementing HR policies and procedures, recruiting and retaining top talent, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the university's mission and goals.
  • Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and training.

Employee Relations:

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and resolve employee issues or conflicts.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and oversee the performance management system, including performance appraisals and feedback processes.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate training programs.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Conduct salary reviews and benchmarking to remain competitive in the market.

Legal Compliance:

  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in the Philippines and ensure the academy's compliance.
  • Handle labor-related concerns and legal matters.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files and attendance records.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration.

Policy Development:

  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to staff.
  • Ensure that all policies are consistently applied and enforced.

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the HR department budget effectively.

**Preferably with HR experience in a university.
