The HR and Staffing Head (Director) Role:

This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in Purple Hub's success. You'll be responsible for driving aggressive recruitment efforts (100s to 1000s of employees quickly), crafting, and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our business goals, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Who You'll Report To:

This position reports directly to both the President of Purple Hub and the Group CHRO based in South East Asia.

Responsibilities:

Building the Dream Team:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to craft HR strategies that align with business goals. Forecast talent needs and develop plans to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead aggressive recruitment efforts to find top talent. Design retention programs to keep your best people thriving.

Shaping a Positive Culture:

  • Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies that ensure a fair and legal workplace, adhering to Philippine labor laws.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued.

Empowering Performance:

  • Performance Management: Implement systems to assess employee performance and guide career development.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive compensation and benefits packages, conducting regular reviews and benchmarking. Manage payroll with accuracy and efficiency.

Investing in Growth:

  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to promote continuous learning and professional development for all employees.
  • HR Analytics & Insights: Track HR metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making. Use data to continually improve HR processes and programs.

Leading the Way:

  • HR Leadership & Team Management: Guide and mentor business leaders in people management and team development. Cultivate a high-performing and growth-oriented HR team.
  • Organizational Development: Champion initiatives that drive positive change within the organization. Support efforts to transform the company culture and achieve strategic development goals.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

Experience:

  • Extensive HR and Staffing experience, ideally exceeding 10 years in a aggressive scale up environment
  • Proven success in a senior HR leadership role, with a preference for experience in the BPO, IT Services, or Sales Finance industries within large organizations employees).

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, adept at finding creative solutions to complex HR challenges.
  • Deep understanding of Philippine labor laws, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) requirements, and best practices in HR and Staffing.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and software tools to optimize HR and Staffing operations.
