Oversees the team responsible for acquiring the goods and services needed to keep the business running smoothly. Handles day-to-day tasks and ensures that the section's plans align with company goals.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creating contracts for necessary supplies and services while staying within budget.
  • Negotiating contracts and regularly reviewing them for adjustments.
  • Building positive relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Managing accounts payable to ensure all bills are paid.
  • Reviewing invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
  • Seeking new business opportunities and staying updated on budget trends.
  • Reporting all purchasing activities to top management.
  • Supervising procurement staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with bidding processes.
  • Recommending policy revisions.
  • Managing staff movements within the procurement section.
  • Developing plans and programs.
  • Setting performance goals for team members.
  • Providing recommendations to the administration department head.
  • Planning and managing the section's budget as well as other department budgets.
  • Preparing necessary reports for the administration department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role in purchasing or procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or any related software
  • Good negotiation and bargaining skills
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable to work independently or with minimal guidance
  • Amenable to work in Pasay
