As the Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture and ensuring that our team embodies the same customer-centric mindset we apply to our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass recruitment, engagement, and general management, providing valuable insights into our customer's (HR) perspective. You will work closely with the executive team to develop, disseminate, and drive Advance's culture and values throughout the entire organization.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the HR team in managing day-to-day HR operations, including benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and policies.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and provide guidance on HR issues.
  • Ensure the organization's HR practices align with legal regulations and ethical standards
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customer's (HR) mindset and translate these insights into HR practices and policies that align with our customer-centric values.
  • Conduct surveys, feedback sessions, and analyses to continually refine and improve our HR approach.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to shape and promote Advance's culture and values throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement programs that reinforce the company's mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and collaboration.
  • Encourage professional development and ensure the team remains aligned with the company's goals.
  • Work with the executive team to align HR strategies with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Assist in setting long-term HR goals and objectives, as well as tracking key performance indicators to measure success.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; an MBA or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HR leader or manager, ideally in a customer-centric organization.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Experience in shaping and promoting company culture and values.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing HR team.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Customer-centric thinking and the ability to translate customer insights into HR practices.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
