About the role

Scanwell Logistics (Phils.) Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Executive to join our dynamic team in BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement appropriate solutions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong understanding of Financial Accounting & Reporting principles and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
