About the Role:

  • Rare Global Food Trading Corp. is hiring a highly driven Account Executive to manage and expand our business in the Meat Processing Plant segment. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in food manufacturing, meat trading, or food ingredient distribution.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in direct sales or procurement, meat safety standards, and supply chain operations for protein-based products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the meat processing industry

  • Build pipelines via cold calling, referrals, and networking
  • Deliver compelling proposals and product presentations
  • Execute strategies to hit and exceed sales targets

  • Account Management:

  • Manage and nurture client relationships in the meat processing sector

  • Understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions
  • Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize account value

  • Trading & Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor movements

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and procurement terms
  • Ensure smooth execution of trades and order fulfillment
  • Understand inventory, quality control, and logistics workflows

  • Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Coordinate with internal teams in operations, logistics, and finance

  • Keep accurate CRM records and provide regular reports
  • Participate in team forecasting and share market insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • At least 4+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management
  • Must have direct experience selling to or buying from food manufacturers or processors
  • Knowledge of meat-specific quality control and food safety standards
  • Familiar with procurement and supply chain processes in the food/protein sector
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & CRM software
  • Preferred industry background: Food Manufacturing, Meat/Food Ingredient Distribution, or Chemical Suppliers
