Job Summary:
The Human Resources Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing candidates to fill open positions within the organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring officers managers to understand staffing needs, managing the recruitment process from end to end, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for building diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Outreach:
Utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, social media, networking events) to attract prospective candidates.
Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through networking, referrals, and industry events.
Screening and Interviewing:
Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
Conduct initial screening calls and in-person interviews to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and guide candidates through the recruitment process.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions that reflect the skills and qualifications required.
Provide guidance on candidate selection, interview techniques, and recruitment strategies.
Candidate Experience:
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
Conduct follow-ups with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
Job Offer and Onboarding:
Prepare and extend job offers, negotiating terms as necessary.
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the organization.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports in the applicant tracker.
Analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts to build a diverse talent pipeline.
Stay informed about best practices in diversity recruitment and implement initiatives that support organizational goals in this area.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in recruitment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in an HR department, with a strong understanding of recruitment processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Certification holder in HR is a plus.
