As we enter a phase of rapid growth, we are looking for a highly experienced and visionary General Manager who will lead our organization in establishing strong operational foundations, building client relationships, and driving strategic direction to ensure long-term success.

Job Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of company operations — from business development and project execution to financial performance and team management. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in the construction industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to build systems and processes that support a fast-growing startup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall strategic leadership and direction to the company's operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Oversee project management, construction operations, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage budget planning, cost control, and financial performance across all departments.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and spearhead project bidding and negotiation efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors on performance, opportunities, and risk management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, including 5+ years in a senior management or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in project management, business development, and operational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project cost management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not required).
