About the role

Polystar General Services is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our dynamic team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As an Account Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial well-being and strategic objectives of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintain and reconcile accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
  2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  3. Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar financial role
  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  3. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  8. Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  9. With Motor and licensed
