Job Description
As an HR Operations Specialist (Timekeeping), you will manage attendance records, validate timekeeping data, resolve disputes, and support payroll accuracy for global teams. You'll ensure compliance with labor standards, deliver excellent employee experience, and collaborate closely with HR and operational stakeholders.

The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 2-3 years experience in HR Operations, Timekeeping, Payroll, or Shared Services environment (BPO/Global delivery background preferred).
- Familiarity with Philippine labor standards related to working hours, overtime, rest days, holidays, and leave policies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Experience using HRIS/timekeeping systems (e.g., HCM, Kronos, Sprout, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
Your Daily Tasks
Timekeeping & Attendance Management
- Maintain and update employee attendance records across designated HRIS/timekeeping systems.
- Validate and reconcile attendance logs, shift schedules, leaves, overtime, night differential, holiday premiums, and rest day pay.
- Review timekeeping reports for accuracy prior to payroll cut-off.
- Process Same Day Credit (SDC) requests and attendance disputes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with Operations and Supervisors on timesheet approvals and schedule adjustments.
Payroll Support
- Prepare, validate, and submit timekeeping summaries to Payroll for processing.
- Collaborate with Payroll to resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment of cut-off calendars.
- Support year-end and audit compliance requirements related to time and attendance.
Employee Support & Service Delivery
- Respond to inquiries regarding attendance, pay impact, schedule rules, and timekeeping policies via ticketing system.
- Provide clear guidance to employees, supervisors, and stakeholders regarding timekeeping procedures and dispute resolution steps.
- Uphold SLA targets for First Response Time and Resolution Time to ensure efficient employee experience.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure adherence to company policies, labor standards, and client contractual requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and system/data integrity.
- Participate in system testing, enhancements, and migration initiatives (e.g., new HRIS/timekeeping tool rollouts).
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee information.
