Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Makati City

Mon - Friday (9am to 6pm) & Saturday (9am to 3pm)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll and benefits process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and Philippine labor laws. The ideal candidate will handle employee timesheets, benefits, and government-mandated contributions while supporting HR functions and driving continuous improvement in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and review employee timesheets and productivity reports per cut-off period.
  • Verify and process employee leave forms for accuracy.
  • Calculate and process payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and benefits.
  • Compute payroll for GX Instructors in accordance with company policies.
  • Audit PT, CRO, and Surge Jr. commissions for proper disbursement.
  • Process final pay for resigned or terminated employees.
  • Update HMO enrollments for employees reaching one year of service.
  • Implement and process salary adjustments as needed.
  • Register employees for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG benefits.
  • Prepare and process payments for government-mandated contributions.
  • Distribute payslips every cut-off period.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and government benefits.
  • Track and report employee tardiness and absences for payroll computation.
  • Generate and present monthly payroll reports to management.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll records and sensitive employee data.
  • Assist in internal and external payroll audits.
  • Support HR with employee records management and administrative tasks.
  • Recommend improvements to payroll and benefits administration processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll and benefits processing experience, preferably in a group of companies.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
