Key responsibilities

  • Payroll processing:
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including calculations for salary, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, tax regulations.
  • Manage and remit statutory contributions and payments promptly.
  • HR support:
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and basic HR queries.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support other HR functions such as compensation, benefits, and employee welfare.
  • Reporting and compliance:
  • Prepare and distribute payroll and management reports.
  • Liaise with external bodies like government departments or authorities as needed.
  • Ensure all payroll processes and records comply with internal standards and statutory requirements.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is often required
  • Experience: Prior experience in HR or administrative positions is frequently necessary.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are crucial. A good understanding of employment laws and HR software systems is also important.
