ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Head Barista – R&D, you combine your expert knowledge of coffee with your creativity to develop new, innovative drinks while maintaining the classic favorites Pocofino is known for. You'll play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by continually introducing fresh ideas and improving the beverages we serve. Beyond R&D, you'll lead the barista team, guiding them to deliver consistent quality and exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Expert Coffee Knowledge: Deep understanding of coffee beans, brewing techniques, espresso methods, and various flavor profiles.
  • R&D Skills: Strong background in experimenting with new recipes and testing beverage formulations. Ability to develop creative drink ideas based on emerging trends.
  • Training and Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively teach, train, and support a team. Ability to inspire others with your knowledge and passion for coffee.
  • Quality Control: A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining consistent product quality.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ability to create memorable customer experiences and deliver outstanding service.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to motivate, lead, and develop a team of baristas, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a barista with a focus on beverage development or research is highly desirable.
