Position Title: Compensation and Benefits Assistant

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary:

The Compensation and Benefits Assistant is responsible for supporting the HR department in developing, implementing, and maintaining fair and competitive compensation and benefits programs. The role involves assisting in salary proposals, processing employee benefits, and ensuring that all compensation and benefits activities are compliant with company policies and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and proposal of salary structures, adjustments, and compensation packages for employees and new hires.
  • Support in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, government-mandated benefits, and other company-provided perks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee compensation and benefits records.
  • Coordinate with external providers and agencies for employee benefits, insurance, and other related matters.
  • Assist in conducting compensation benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitiveness in the industry.
  • Prepare reports related to payroll, benefits utilization, and compensation analysis.
  • Help address employee inquiries and concerns related to pay, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Support HR in developing and implementing new compensation and benefits programs as approved by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related field.
  • At least 6mos - 1 year of experience in compensation and benefits or HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and data management skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in salary proposal preparation or compensation analysis.
  • Background in working with payroll or accounting systems.
  • Previous experience in an HR department within a fast-paced or international company is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
