About the Role :
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of the company's compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that Skyro's pay structure remains competitive and equitable while maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented HR professional with strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing both compensation frameworks and benefits operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Management
Develop, review, and maintain the company's salary structure and pay ranges to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
Conduct salary benchmarking, analysis, and surveys to support compensation decisions.
Partner with HR leadership in planning and implementing merit increases, salary adjustments, and job evaluations.
Provide data-driven insights to support compensation-related strategies and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies related to compensation.
Benefits Administration & Compliance
Oversee implementation and compliance of benefits policies and procedures with government regulations.
Process and monitor employees' availment of statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company-initiated programs.
Manage enrollment and updates for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and company benefits such as HMO and Group Life Insurance.
Act as a liaison with government agencies for statutory filings, reimbursements, and employee benefits concerns.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all employee benefits and statutory contributions.
Formulate and revise benefits policies as needed to align with business and compliance requirements.
Employee Support & Communication
Assist in employee onboarding by explaining compensation and benefit structures.
Handle inquiries and provide guidance on compensation and benefits-related matters.
Communicate updates and changes to benefit programs effectively to employees.
Support HR-led programs and initiatives related to total rewards and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of solid experience in Compensation and Benefits, including salary structure management.
Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with HRIS or payroll systems preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
