Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager– Channels is responsible for building and scaling NetSolar's channel partner ecosystem, including EPCs, developers, and distribution partners. This role owns partner acquisition, onboarding, and co-selling activities, ensuring that partner-sourced deals contribute meaningfully to revenue goals. Acts as the main liaison for partner performance, enablement, and feedback.

Partner Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify, vet, and recruit high-potential EPC, developer, and distributor partners
  • Develop onboarding materials and conduct enablement sessions
  • Set expectations on co-selling, deal registration, and CRM protocols

Co-Selling & Deal Support

  • Jointly qualify partner-led opportunities and provide deal support
  • Ensure technical and commercial alignment with Sales Engineer and C&C
  • Support partners in proposal development, pricing, and customer presentations

Performance Monitoring & Feedback

  • Track partner pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and deal velocity
  • Gather feedback to evolve the enablement toolkit and partner experience
  • Collaborate with the Director and C&C to refine incentives and governance

Relationship Management & Advocacy

  • Conduct regular partner check-ins and reviews
  • Act as the partner advocate internally, raising needs or blockers to the leadership team
  • Represent NetSolar at partner events and co-marketing initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

  3. At least 5 years experience in channel development, partnerships, or B2B sales
  4. Background in renewable energy or infrastructure ecosystems preferred

  5. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES

  6. Strong relationship-building and partner management skills

  7. Structured thinker with ability to drive pipeline through others
  8. Excellent presentation and negotiation capabilities
  9. Comfortable with CRM and sales enablement platforms
  10. Strategic yet execution-oriented; a team player with high integrity
