About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Logistics & Freight Operations Coordinator to support international shipping processes for an exciting Australian business. This role will involve end-to-end tracking of import shipments (Used household effects, Commercial forwarding, and International freight forwarding), document management, coordination with local and overseas agents, and proactive follow-ups to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

Responsibilities
:

  • Handle 
    used household effects shipments
    , ensuring smooth coordination from documentation through to final delivery.
  • Manage 
    commercial forwarding operations
    , including documentation (B534, Packing List, Passport, Visa, B/L) and compliance with international shipping requirements.
  • Oversee 
    international freight forwarding
     (FCL, LCL, and Air), ensuring accurate job registration in internal systems (e.g., MW).
  • Liaise with overseas agents to secure complete and timely submission of documents.
  • Provide clients with regular pre-alerts and shipment updates, including ETA and status tracking.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and local agents for arrival notices, EDOs, clearance, and port/freight charges.
  • Collaborate with the internal accounts team to track and confirm payments.
  • Organise and monitor final delivery once customs clearance is achieved.
  • Maintain precise records and ensure proactive follow-ups across all touchpoints.

Requirements
:

  • Previous experience in used household effects, Commercial forwarding, and International freight forwarding
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics
  • Strong understanding of import/export documentation
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Able to follow up and chase documentation, status, and payments across multiple parties
  • Familiar with systems like MW (or willing to learn)
  • Comfortable with international time zones (AU–PH)
