About the Job

The US Track and Trace Operations Specialist (Logistics Coordinator) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of shipments by closely monitoring freight activity, maintaining real-time visibility, and proactively resolving transit issues.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with logistics systems and Excel-based reporting tools.

The role will serve as a liaison between agents, vendors, and internal teams, providing accurate updates, coordinating responses, and ensuring compliance with client service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track all active shipments using the company's Transportation Management Systems (TMS): Worldtrak and TAI.
  • Communicate effectively with agents, carriers, and vendors via Zoom Phone and email to confirm shipment statuses, delivery appointments, and issue resolutions.
  • Identify potential delays or exceptions in transit and proactively escalate or resolve them in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Update shipment milestones and documentation accurately within the TMS and internal tracking tools.
  • Generate and maintain Excel reports for shipment visibility, performance tracking, and client reporting.
  • Collaborate with the US operations team to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to client requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and suggesting efficiency enhancements.
  • Experience is preferred
    . We have two TMS we utilize, Worltrak and TAI. The user will communicate with agents, vendors via zoom phone and email. Their ability to work inside Excel etc is required.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Track and Trace, Freight Operations, or Logistics Coordination is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel (data entry, tracking sheets, basic formulas, and reporting).
  • Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) — especially Worldtrak and TAI — is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable handling professional
  • correspondence via Zoom Phone and email.
  • Strong accuracy in data entry, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting US operations, including potential alignment with US business hours (EST).
  • Amenable to start ASAP.
