
Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and utilizing client-specific ideal customer profiles, personas, value
- propositions and messaging to effectively communicate with land/expand prospects.
- Directly communicating with prospects over email, LinkedIn or other digital channels.
- Facilitating 1-to-1 communications with prospects to pre-qualify and book meetings.
- Pre-qualify prospects based on written criteria, prospect/company data, commitment level,
- etc. to book qualified meetings with potential good Ideal Customer Profile fits.
- Scheduling, re-scheduling, "ghost chasing," and facilitating meetings.
- Updating sales data across multiple CRM systems.
- Pre-qualifying prospects; effectively transitioning warm engagements to Relationship
- Developers and clients.
- Tracking and measuring business development activities and results by recording phone calls
- calls and logging all customer interactions in CRM.
- Qualifying need, interest level, and commitment level before first call.
- Managing multiple client pipelines – following up with out-of-office notifications, managing
- multiple appointment calendars, maintaining CRM data
Expected Result:
- Autonomously manage outbound channels and engagements with prospects, providing
- valuable communication to prospects and Relationship Developers.
- Positive relationship with Relationship Developers and Outbound Lead.
- Weekly engagement of cold contacts and first meetings generated with consistent show up
- rates for meetings.
- Understanding of client-specific ICP criteria, value proposition and talking points.
- Logging weekly activities by individual client account.
- Scoreboard results – conversion rate of account & contact targets to Quality Connections.
- Tracking of all two-way interactions with prospects.
