
Business Development Representative

Role Purpose
As a Business Development Representative / Recruiter, you will play a dual role helping Anchored Care to expand its reach and impact. On one side, you will grow our client base and deepen partnerships, identifying opportunities in Melbourne under the NDIS scheme. On the other side, you will recruit high-quality support staff, ensuring they align with our values and meet the compliance requirements relevant to NDIS participants.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and engage prospective participants, plan managers, support coordinators, and referral sources across Melbourne under the NDIS.
- Build strong relationships with community organisations, local services, and stakeholders in the NDIS ecosystem.
- Understand the needs of NDIS participants to tailor service offerings, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities.
- Work together with leadership to set and meet growth targets for participant intake and service coverage.
Recruitment
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for roles in disability support aligned with NDIS requirements.
- Ensure strong alignment with Anchored Care's values: participant-centred, cultural diversity, safety, risk management, and compliance.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for immediate and future needs.
- Support candidates through onboarding, including compliance checks required under NDIS, ensuring they are ready to deliver high-quality, safe care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in business development, sales, recruitment, or similar role preferably in the NDIS/disability support sector.
- Knowledge of NDIS plans, supports, and how plan funding works.
- Understanding of compliance processes under NDIS (worker screening, police checks, risk management, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance targets for growth with maintaining high quality of service and staff integrity.
- Must be culturally sensitive and committed to family-centred and participant-centred care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php55,000.00 per month
