About the role

Reporting to the HR Manager, this full-time HR Employee Relations Specialist role is responsible for providing support and guidance to both employees and managers. In this key position, you will be the go-to person for all employee-related matters, helping to foster a positive and productive work environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Advise and assist employees on a range of HR-related matters, including performance management, workplace policies, disciplinary procedures and employee benefits
  2. Investigate and help resolve employee grievances, disputes and complaints, ensuring fair and impartial outcomes
  3. Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues, providing guidance on best practices and company policies
  4. Maintain detailed and accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  6. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring a smooth transition in and out of the organisation
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in employment legislation and best practices, and provide recommendations to the HR team

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an employee relations or generalist HR role, preferably in the HR department of a large organization
  3. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels
  5. In-depth knowledge of Philippine employment laws, regulations and best practices
  6. Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work independently to meet deadlines
