About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and resourceful Business Development professional to lead our client acquisition efforts in the BPO, IT Recruitment, and Corporate Services industry. The ideal candidate is a proven sales closer with a strong track record of building client portfolios, developing new business opportunities, and generating revenue.
This role requires someone who can independently identify, pursue, and close deals with both local and international clients, while also maintaining strong professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients through LinkedIn sourcing, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, open opportunities, and close deals.
- Create and present tailored business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
- Drive revenue generation from the first month by leveraging existing client networks and building new ones.
- Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Lead and mentor a small team of sales/account managers when needed.
- Collaborate with recruitment and operations teams to align client requirements with service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (preferably in BPO, IT recruitment, or corporate services).
- Excellent market research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
- Strong portfolio of local and international clients.
- With a solid track record of stable employment history (not a job-hopper).
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and consistently hit/exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive — able to create opportunities, not wait for them.
- Familiarity with remote work setup while being open to attending client meetings and industry events in Metro Manila.
- Professional presence with the ability to engage C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools to manage leads and track business opportunities.
- Exposure to startup environments with the ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving business needs.
