Role Description

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to support our growth strategy. The
Business Development Manager
will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and project managers, and promoting Steelcase products and workplace solutions.

The role requires a strong understanding of the commercial real estate and contract furniture industry, design trends, and B2B sales strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of winning large-scale, enterprise-level accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand the company's client base and Steelcase product sales.

·      Lead business development strategy targeting major Philippine conglomerates and their subsidiaries across multiple sectors.

·      Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, long-term contracts, and repeat business with enterprise clients, including new business opportunities in corporate, education, healthcare, and government sectors.

·      Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including corporate decision-makers, real estate developers, interior designers, and architects.

·      Develop tailored proposals and sales pitches aligned with the client's corporate objectives, project timelines, and brand standards.

·      Work closely with the design, marketing, and project teams to ensure alignment in proposals, product offerings, and execution.

·      Manage RFP/bidding processes and lead high-stakes negotiations for complex deals.

·      Monitor market trends, competition, and client feedback to continuously refine business strategies.

·      Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

·      Represent the company and Steelcase brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·      Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.

·      Experience in the furniture, interior fit-out, construction, or real estate industries is highly desirable.

·      Deep understanding of local market dynamics, and enterprise procurement cycles.

Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required.

·      
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
