Job Summary

The Construction Head holds primary responsibility and accountability for the overall progress and performance of the Construction group. He/She ensures project completion on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards through effective planning, organization, and control. Additionally, the Construction Head fosters the professional growth of subordinates by providing mentorship and training opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtain a clear and detailed project scope from Management, Business Development, and Credit & Collection teams regarding annual construction targets for housing, land development, and amenities.
  • Collaborate with Project-in-Charge (PICs), Engineers, Contractors, and other project personnel to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high-quality performance across all assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and legal requirements to support continuous, safe, and successful operations at all project sites.
  • Review and approve workflows, procedures, and construction setups to achieve optimal productivity and quality at the lowest feasible cost.
  • Guarantee that all project processes align with safety, quality, and timely delivery standards to maximize profitability while maintaining strong focus on safety, workmanship excellence, schedule adherence, and team competence.
  • Evaluate and approve major expenditures to confirm alignment with project needs and prevent unnecessary costs. Prepare the annual Project Operating Plan for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure the availability and proper allocation of all resources necessary to complete projects according to established schedules.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture, Licensed.
  • With at least ten (10) years of project management experience in the construction and property development industry, both horizontal and vertical
  • Has knowledge in project management, planning, and relevant government codes (building code, structural code, DHSUD guidelines, etc.)
  • Has strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Willing to be assigned in Biñan, Laguna and do field work
  • Can start immediately
