Job Summary

Manages and administers the functions of the activities and personnel of the Inventory and Warehouse Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of the logistics, warehouse, and inventory management teams.
  • Develops strategies and policies to ensure efficient and cost-effective utilization of warehouse facilities and inventory resources.
  • Maximizes warehouse efficiency by determining optimal stock levels, coordinating inter-warehouse transfers, and managing the disposal of non-moving items to free storage space.
  • Oversees the movement of materials between warehouses.
  • Reviews and analyzes monthly inventory reports from all project warehouses to validate actual inventory levels.
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity of inventory data through regular physical counts in coordination with the Accounting Department.
  • Monitors construction progress and verifies that all required documentation (e.g., Purchase Requisitions) for material needs is properly completed.
  • Tracks and monitors the delivery status of materials.
  • Addresses inquiries, follow-ups, issues, and concerns from Material Control Engineers (MCE), office staff, and warehouse personnel across all project warehouses. Reviews and evaluates Purchase Requisitions for Housing Construction.
  • Evaluates and consolidates monthly MCE reports for submission to Cost Accounting and Planning & Design.
  • Conducts regular site visits, inspections, and meetings with MCEs, warehouse staff, and PICs of all project warehouses.
  • Participates in coordination meetings with the executive office and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Preferably Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • With at least ten (10) years of experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
  • With at least five (5) years of people management experience.
  • With experience in the Real Estate (Mass Housing) and Construction Industry.
  • Knowledgeable in inventory management and basic functionalities of a typical inventory management program.
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills, and people management skills.
