Job Summary
Manage and administer the functions of the activities and personnel of the Inventory and Warehouse Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the day to day activities of the logistics, warehouse, inventory management group.
  • Strategizes and formulates policies on the efficient and economic use of the company's warehouse facilities and inventory resources.
  • Optimizes use of warehouse by determining optimum stock levels, utilizing inter-warehouse stock transfers, and leading the disposal of non-moving inventory to free up warehouse space.
  • Manages inter-warehouse movement of materials.
  • Checks and analyzes monthly inventory report of all project warehouses to determine actual inventory of each project.
  • Ensures inventory data accuracy and integrity through periodic inventory physical count in coordination with Accounting department.
  • Checks and monitors construction status and ensures proper documentation (i.e. PR) is in place for the material requirements of the projects.
  • Checks and monitors delivery status of Materials.
  • Attends to inquiries, follow-ups, concerns, and problems of MCE (Material Control Engineer), office staff and warehousemen of all project warehouses.
  • Checks and evaluates purchase requisitions (PR) of Housing Construction.
  • Evaluates and compiles monthly reports of MCE to Cost Accounting and Planning & Design Department.
  • Conducts regular site visits, checking and meeting with MCE, warehousemen and PIC of all project warehouses.
  • Attends coordination meetings with executive office and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    ; Preferably
    Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering
    .
  • With at least ten (10) years of
    experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
  • With at least five (5) years of people management experience.
    - With experience in the Real Estate (Mass Housing) and Construction Industry.- Knowledgeable in inventory management and basic functionalities of a typical inventory management program.
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills, and people management skills.
