About this opportunity:

The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the telco network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role involves proactive network surveillance, incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination with customer NOC, internal teams and vendors to resolve network issues promptly.

What you will do:

  • Monitor network elements (core, transmission, IP, and access) using NMS tools and dashboards.
  • Work on shift schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Detect, analyze, and escalate alarms and anomalies in real-time.
  • Respond to network faults and service outages within SLA.
  • Perform initial diagnosis and escalate to relevant teams for resolution.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate logs in the ticketing system.
  • Track KPIs and generate reports on network health and availability.
  • Assist in functionality testing, change request implementation and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with field engineers, vendors, and other support teams for issue resolution.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders during major incidents.

  • Prepares, collects and validates scripts & configurations with focus on accuracy prior to execution to support the plan
  • Defines prepares and executes test cases to ensure first time right
  • performs troubleshooting to diagnose issues, taking corrective actions or raising escalations where needed to ensure quality of delivery
  • performs integration and migration work in accordance with process framework and contractual obligations
  • secures that OS, HW, SW, licenses and configuration data is available in correct format/version
  • manages exit criteria and handover documentation to support revenue recognition and customer value
  • drives changes to processes and methods related to integration activities to improve delivery efficiency and quality
  • Should be able to supervise and mentor others

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communications, Computer Engineering, or related field.

· 1–3 years in NOC or network operations within a telco environment.

· Knowledge of NMS tools

· Basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, and transmission equipment.

· Familiarity with IP networking, transmission systems, and telecom protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php75, Php85,000.00 per month
