Senior Service Desk Engineer (L2) – IT By Design Department: Service Delivery Work Schedule: Full-time | EST Hours Location: Philippines About the Role We are looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer (L2) to join our dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365), and DNS/DHCP management. You’ll be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the enterprise infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance across systems. Key Responsibilities Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, and Domain Controllers. Administer and maintain Microsoft Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint. Configure, monitor, and resolve issues related to DNS/DHCP and core network services. Lead or participate in migration projects (e.g., AD consolidation, O365 hybrid or cloud transitions). Implement and maintain system security, patching, and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability. Provide Tier 2 support and serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar technical role. Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022). Proven expertise in Active Directory, O365 administration, and DNS/DHCP management. Working knowledge of Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange Online preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision. Strong communication and documentation skills.
