The Account Executive is tasked to identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Building a pipeline of prospects through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Delivering presentations and product/service proposals to potential clients.
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing accounts.
  • Understanding client needs and ensuring the delivery of customized solutions.
  • Providing ongoing support, addressing client inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Cross-selling and upselling products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify trading opportunities.
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Executing trades and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, and logistics.
  • Working closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and providing regular sales reports to management.
  • Participating in team meetings, contributing to forecasting, and sharing market insights.

Candidates must have:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Knowledge of trading practices, commodity markets, or industry-specific regulations (a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management.
